Benue Speaker, Ikyange Impeached…..As Ugba Replaces Him

The Speaker, Benue House of Assembly (BNHA), Terkimbi Ikyange has been impeached.
Titus Ugba, a member representing Ikyan State Constituency, Vandeikya Local Government Area (LGA) has replaced him.
The impeachment may not be unconnected with the recent political monouvures that have been going on in the state and across the country.
It will be recalled that the speaker, Honourable Terkimbir Ikyange, was threatened with impeachment several time and sometimes in July 2016 by a group, named ‘Consensus for Change’ who asked him to resign from office as the only panacea to peace to reign in the House.
