Popular music act, Azeez Fashola, otherwise known as Naira Marley has been granted bail in the sum of 2million naira by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
The presiding judge, Justice Nicholas Oweibo granted Naira Marley after he was satisfied with application from his counsel.
The judge granted Naira Marley bail following arguments from counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Rotimi Oyedepo, and that of Olalekan Ojo (SAN), lawyer to Fashola.
It would be recalled that Naira Marley had been remanded in prison custody till today to enable the court entertain arguments on the bail application instituted by Naira Marley, after the anti-graft agency had at the last adjourned date arraign the musician on an 11 counts, which has to do with credit card fraud.
The musician had however had pleaded not guilty to the cyber fraud charge against him by The Commission.
