With many of his critics coming for him and saying he lied to the court about his health, which led to him being on medical admission abroad, the controversial Fayose said being on medical check up is not same as being on medical admission. He’d described his critics as ‘hailers’ who are never tired of finding things against him and said they could ‘hug the transformer’ in an unclad reply.

“These ‘hailers’, when I was on their case, they were crying. Now I’m on my own lane enjoying my life, they are still crying and sucking. Expect more so you can cry more. I’m on medical check up, not medical admission. Celebrating new year is my right, haters can hug transformer. Happy New Year,” he tweeted.

The former governor is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for an alleged N2.2 billion fraud and granted permission by a federal high court to seek medical treatment abroad.
