APC Chieftain Attacked By Gunmen

Report reaching yours truly has it that a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, Prince Okugo Nwanjoku was at the weekend was shot and attacked by gunmen.
The incident occurred at Ogbaku town, Awgu LGA of Enugu State.
The victim is the son of a former chairman of PDP in Enugu State, His Royal Highness, Igwe Onyioha Nwanjoku of Odumo town, Aninri LGA of the State
It was reliably gathered that Prince Nwanjoku was returning from his hometown, Odumo, when he was waylaid by the gunmen, suspected to be hired assassins.
Although Nwanjoku survived the attack, he sustained bullet wounds.
He was still in stable condition when he spoke with our correspondent on Monday morning.
Doctors said three bullets were still lodged in his head.
Nwanjoku who was still receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital said he was attacked by gunmen at Ogbaku while retaining  from Odumo.
