Just In: Police Disperse Shiite Protesters With  Teargas In Abuja 

Members of Islamic Movement of Nigeria  ( IMN ) was again dispersed  with  teargas  and live ammunitions by the Nigerian police on Thursday in Abuja during a  protest to demand for the release of their leader .
The protesters who set out from Federal secretariat near Ministry of education with the aim to matching down toward Eagle Square were engaged by the armed  Anti- riot policemen who have condoned off barricaded the roads leading to the National Assembly and three arms zone.
Trouble started when the police  demanded to talk to the leaders of the movement.   But the two leaders Nura Marafa and Mujaid Mohammed who came forward to have a chat with the police got more than what they bargained for as they were slapped repeatedly and whisked into the waiting hilux vehicle.
This situation that led to pandemonium at the hub of civil servants  with sporadic shooting of teargas canisters and live ammunitions as the protesters were seen scampering for safety . 
Many of the protesters sustained varying degree of  injuries while others were unconscious and running in different direction as a result of the fumes inhaled from the teargas .
 The number of casualties who were caught up in the mayhem cannot be immediately ascertained as at time of this report . Normalcy has  however gradually returned to the area.
