See Faces Of Robbers Who Attacked Guardian Newspaper Editor 

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police yesterday paraded  five persons who allegedly attacked the Editor in Chief of the Guardian Newspaper, Debo Adesina.

The three suspect arrested are:  Tunde Segun 23 years, Ayo Omoniyi  24 years and Samson Oyeleye 22 years. 

The police boss, Edgal Imohimi said that the arrest was made on November 21, 2018 at about 1830hours at Oshodi Oke pin down point.

 Imohimi added that the suspect attacked and robbed the Guardian Newspaper Editor-in -Chief on the said date at about 1730hrs and they were all arrested one hour after the attack

“The suspect were nabbed following a tip off received from commuters, that hoodlums who specialized in snatching phones and robbing innocent citizens of their belonging during traffic at Oshodi-Oke were in operation.”

Edgal further said the items recovered from the gang include a,  Samsung X8 phone belonging to the Guardian Newspaper Editor-in Chief  who was robbed the same day, four ATM cards and a Guardian I.D card bearing the name of Debo Adesina, property of the said Journalist. 

The CP however assures Lagosian that Lagos state will continue to be a safe place to stay.

He also said suspects will be charged to court at the end of investigation.
